We currently accept PayPal and money orders for payment. Items paid for with money orders will be shipped to you after payment is received and cleared. Please allow 3-5 business days to receive your item after we ship it out.

Pre-made items are shipped out the next business day, while custom orders are shipped out 5-10 days after order, depending on size and quantity of items ordered. Our business hours are 9 to 5 pm, Central time. We use only Priority Mail via USPS, which takes 3-5 days for delivery, after being shipped. We do not ship or process orders on U.S. federal holidays. We do not ship items on weekends. We do ship to Canada, but any and all taxes and fees are the responsibility of the customer. We will contact you with invoice info for Canadian orders.

We accept returns for cash refunds up to 3 days after you receive item(s). You are responsible for return shipping to us, and the postmark on your return package must be within the 3 day time frame to qualify for a cash refund. We also do item exchanges. If you are not happy with your item, return it (at your expense) and we will create a new one for you, free of charge. You have a 7 day time frame for item exchange returns. The same policy applies to item exchanges, as it does cash exchanges: You are responsible for return shipping to us, and the postmark on your return package must be within the 7 day time frame to qualify for an item exchange.

Shipping costs here are calculated based on USPS prices and your zip code/area. We ship within mainland U.S.A., and Hawaii and Alaska, as well as Canada, using USPS Priority Flat Rate and Priority Mail International.

All items created by American Crochet are not only made in the USA, but also hand made, using only yarn the comes from America as well. All items come from a smoke and pet free home.

We suggest washing items with like colours in warm or cold water on the gentle cycle, and do an extra spin cycle to insure best wringing. Use a tumble dry on gentle cycle as well. Keep an eye on drying time, and remove item if it is dry, even if there's still drying time. This keeps the item from breaking down faster, and maintains colour of item. All items are washed after creation, using Purex 3-in-1 detergent.
